“state of seclusion” ..
oh for some this isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic is a gift of time to be welcomed .. it eases demands and burdens from the outside world, some perceived and some actual .. and allows for a life slowing and time to complete projects ..
for some of us, me, it is a time of too much solitude .. too little hugging .. too little people contact .. too few social interactions ..
having been recently divorced and with two grown children, I am on my own and that changes seclusion as well ..
but not being one to wallow (but if you are a wallower, wallow on .. it’s ok to wallow), I have put miles on my feet, blisters on my heels .. and I’ve been filled with gratitude at the people out there painting rocks, creating with side walk chalk and using other creative methods to send a message to the world ..
during the worst of times, we often see the best of people .. and this carries us forward .. with hope .. stay healthy my friends and see you on the other side ..
